Abstract

A comparative study of the immunoenzymatic assay [ELISA] and immunoelectromicroscopy [IEM] in the detection of rotaviruses in the stools of 72 patients from the Texas Children Hospital at Houston is evaluated in this paper. A discussions of the advantages and disadvantages of the use of Staphylococcus aureusprotein A in immunoelectromicroscopy diagnostic test is presented.
