Hipertensión arterial en Colombia

Abstract

The results of systolic and dyastolic means tensions and percentages rates of arterial hipertension by age groups and sex in five regions of our country related to height above sea level, urbanization levels, according to total cholesterol values, obteined in the Estudio Nacional de Salud 1977-1980, in popialation older than 15 years in a probabilistically stratified sample among households and persons representative for the country and the regions that restitutes a populations of 14.12.457 older than years, showing a rate of 13.6% for women and 9.6% to men, in the colombian population.
