Blastogénesis y pruebas intracutáneas con antígeno parcialmente purificado de Candida albicans
Abstract
Using a partial purified antigen from Candida albicans, analysed by polyacrilamide gel electrophoresis, which probed to elicit a delayed type of hipersensitivity in guinea pigs noticed by induration 24 hours after the intradermal inocultion of 0.1 m1 of the apropiate antigen dilution, phenomema wich disappers 72 hours later and which histopathological studies were in agreentment with a delayed hipersensivity type of reaction, candidine and blastogenesis studies were carried out; 13 out of 16 healthy volunteers tested showed a delayed hipersensitivity reaction, but the blastogenesis test of their lymphocytes cultures stimulated with the antigen and incubated with radiactive thymidine were consistently negative. These results seems to demostrate that blastogenesis and delayed hypersensitive are different phenomena to evaluate cell mediated immnunity.
