Abstract

The purpose of this paper was to review the main characteristics of a drug delivery System supported on different biomaterials and particularly the systerns applied on the treatmet of bone diseases. The advantages and disadvantages of thistype of biomaterial utilised with this objective are analysed in detail, based on the study of up-to-date literature in this area.
